CEO – PeopleCare Health Services
Sarah Engels is the CEO of PeopleCare Health Services (PCHS), which serves all 64 counties in the State of Colorado. She has served on numerous nonprofit boards and CDPHE and HCPF committees and has over 36 years of experience in healthcare.
Her experience in healthcare dates back to her childhood when she grew up and worked in the first continuum care facility in the State of Colorado until she attended college in Chicago, in which her father worked as the Administrator and her mother, an RN, was the manager of the Independent Living Communities.
In 2003, Sarah accepted the role of Vice President of Operations for Complete Medical Staffing. A few years later, she opened their affiliate company, California Medical Staffing and built CMS to be one of the largest staffing agencies in the US. In 2008, Sarah moved to work in Private Pay, VA and Medicaid at PeopleCare.

Rachel is the CEO of TEAM RMS and Co-President of TEAM Services Group. Her experience in business development, sales, marketing, and corporate strategy. Most recently, she served as Deputy Chief of Staff to the CFO and Sr. Executive Vice President of Fortune 50 healthcare company. Rachel holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA from Harvard University.

Isaac is the Director of Partnerships at Circle of Life Home Care. Prior to working at Circle of Life, Isaac has worked in management consulting, most recently at Accenture, in the areas of process improvement, strategy, and risk management. Isaac is also a Marine Corps Veteran with a bachelor’s degree in business management from St. Cloud State University.

Lorenzo Moran is CFO of 24 Hour Home Care. In this role, he leads all finance and accounting aspects, and serves as a strategic partner to executive, sales, business development, operations, and other teams for sustainable growth while building operational capacity into our teams to fuel such growth. Previously, Lorenzo served as VP Financial Operations and Accounting at Prime Healthcare, a $5 billion for-profit hospital chain that acquired hospitals and focused on operational excellence. Prior to Prime, Lorenzo was a Senior Manager at EY, where he spent close to a decade on audits of healthcare organizations. Lorenzo holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Calstate Long Beach, and is a CPA in California.

Asia Nelson is the Chief People Officer of Hmong Home Health Care (HHHC). Asia leads the company’s people strategy to drive business success. Prior to joining HHHC, Asia worked in operations and logistics at industrial supplier McMaster-Carr where she managed an inbound receiving operation and frontline call center. Asia earned her MBA from MIT Sloan with a Technical Leadership Certificate from the MIT Graduate School of Engineering. She also holds a B.A. from Brown University.

Over the years, he’s led teams of 120+ salespeople, received awards for excellence, and shown overall strong and influential leadership qualities. Leaning on his years of sales leadership experience, Close did great things with the sales directives of 24 Hour Home Care. In 2022, Close was promoted to the President of 24 Hour Home Care Community Supports services.

Marcus is CEO of TPC East and Dependable Home Health Care. Previously, Marcus was VP of Operations at TEAM Services Group. Prior to that, Marcus worked at Bank of New York Mellon in private wealth management, and Altegris Investments in alternative investment sales and operations. Marcus also played professional basketball in Denmark. He received his BA from Amherst College and MBA from Harvard Business School.

Lauren is the CEO of Hmong Home Health Care, a personalized home care agency that caters to the Hmong and Karen populations in Minnesota. A native of Arizona, Justin Tyler brings over 15 years of healthcare leadership to the Devoted Guardians team. Justin has served the senior population in direct care and executive leadership roles in the home care, outpatient, and inpatient care settings. Justin is married to Dr. Emily Tyler, and they have 3 children between the ages of 13 and 22. The family enjoys watching sports, visits to the beach, and spending time with their 5 dogs. Over the past 4 years, Justin has had the privilege of serving as a quarterly Guest Lecture at Grand Canyon University, leading discussion and teaching professional transition to the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) students. Justin received his Bachelor’s in Social Behavior Sciences from Northern Arizona University.

Aaron Sinykin has served as the Founder and CEO of Devoted Guardians since its inception in 2012 and has been embracing his passion for helping others and enriching the lives for those who need assistance to age at home. Austin Hancock is the Chief Financial Officer of Acumen. He joined Acumen after six years at Cable One, a top internet service provider, where he led Business Intelligence, ERM, and M&A functions. Prior to that, he served in various engineering and operations leadership positions as a nuclear submarine officer in the US Navy over a nine year period. Austin earned his B.S. in Quantitative Economics from the US Naval Academy and MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Tim is the CEO of Circle of Life Home Care. In his over 25 years as a home care CEO, Tim has been dedicated to a community-based model of care with a commitment to hire from within the communities in which he serves. Matt is the CIO at Acumen. Matt has over 15+ years of experience in information technology in a variety of industries spanning both the public and private sector. Matt has held numerous positions in his career ranging from software engineer to consultant to IT Director. Matt is also co-founder of Direct Care Innovations, LLC which is a software company that creates systems and solutions for the Medicaid and Medicare space. Matt has a BS from Arizona State University.

Patrick is the CTO at DCI. Prior to DCI, Patrick spent three years as CTO of Equality Health. Patrick has over two decades of healthcare technology experience leading teams focused on software solutions and infrastructure. Patrick holds a Masters of Science from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden.
Clinical Compliance Director – PASCO
Denise is the Clinical Compliance Director for PASCO. Denise has been with PASCO since 2011. Prior to PASCO, Denise worked for seven years as the Home Health Administrator for the Center for People with Disabilities located in Boulder, CO. Prior to that, Denise worked as a Senior Community School Nurse Consultant for the Miami Dade County Health Department providing services to elementary school age children. Denise is an appointed member of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) Home Care Advisory Committee (HCAC). Denise is also an appointed member of the Nurse Aide Advisory Committee at the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA). Denise earned her BSN in 1996 and her M.S./HSA in 2001.

Prior to DCI, Jake spent seven years as a management consultant at Deloitte, where he gained experience leading client engagements in analytics, revenue growth management, customer profitability, and technology strategy across the retail, consumer, and technology industries. Steve Mastin is the VP of Finance at TEAM Services Group. Steve has an extensive background in a broad range of leadership positions including, CFO, Vice President of Finance, and Controller for a number of private equity and non-private equity backed companies. Most recently, Steve was the VP of Finance and Controller for a successful private equity supported education company focused both on organic and inorganic growth. Steve brings significant experience in acquisition and systems integration and operating division leadership along with a people first approach.

Adam is the Head of Analytics at TEAM. He is also a registered DSP and regularly provides direct care and services to the clients that PASCO serves. After attaining an MBA in global management, Adam hopes to implement innovative strategies using technology to address service gaps for home healthcare. Prior to TEAM, Adam was the CEO of PASCO. Prior to PASCO, Adam worked for Capital H Group, a private equity-backed human capital consulting firm based in Chicago, IL. As a senior consultant, he developed strengths in project management, business analysis, and decision modeling. Prior to Capital H Group, Adam was a business intelligence analyst for Unext.com, a for-profit online education provider. He attended Northwestern University as an undergrad, majoring in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences and Political Science.

Ford is the Head of Advocacy and Policy at TEAM. Ford has more than 25 years of providing health and human services for individuals needing long term services and supports including seniors, individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities, and Veterans.

Previously, JB worked as the Head of U.S. Operations for Dutch eye exam provider ease and as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney across industries and functions. JB holds an MBA from Northwestern Kellogg School of Management and a BBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University.

Gina is the VP of Operations at Alliance Services. She is known for her compassion and efforts to serve and listen to those around her. Gina brings work experience from Nike, Yamhill-Carlton High School, and George Fox University where she helped launch the Physical Therapy program. Gina is a passionate advocate for people who are struggling. Her main focus at Alliance Services is to build relationships with customers and providers to help them live their best lives.

David Allerby is the Owner and Co-Founder of 24 Hour Home Care, a California based company providing premier non-medical home care services. Mr. Allerby oversees all of 24 Hour Home Care’s operations to insure efficiency, quality of Caregivers, and world-class customer service. He brings close to 10 years of experience in the home care industry to 24 Hour Home Care. Prior to founding 24 Hour Home Care, Mr. Allerby helped launch Maxim Healthcare Services new Companion Services division. He served as General Manager of Maxim Companion Services’ flagship Los Angeles branch for close to 5 years. In addition, he developed a business plan for expansion of the division, which contributed to Maxim’s rapid growth. Today, Maxim Companion Services has 16 locations. Mr. Allerby has also served on the Board of Directors of ARMS-Adult Resolutions & Mediation Services. In February 2013, he was named by Forbes Magazine as one of America’s Most Promising Business Owners under 35. Mr. Allerby holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California in Business Administration.

Steve Barber is President of Disability Services at 24 Hour Home Care. In this role, he scales growth and operational excellence for 24 Hour’s Disability Services division, serving California families impacted by intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Before joining 24 Hour Home Care, Steve was a growth and strategy executive at MidAmerica (a former Alpine Investors portfolio company), and additionally served 11 years as a U.S. Navy F/A-18 pilot stationed at home and abroad. Steve holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, an MS from the University of Maryland, and a BS from the United States Naval Academy.

Omar Khanataev is the CEO of Ameribest Home Care. Omar has been with the company since 2010 serving the administrator and director of operation roles before being promoted to CEO in 2017. Prior to the that, Omar attended Temple University and received his bachelors in Economics with a minor in Healthcare management.

Bob Kane is the Chief Operating Officer of AmeriBest Home Care. He has over 20 years of healthcare experience and brings a relentless work-ethic as a growth-oriented operations leader.
